Back from Prague

OK We survived Prague of the Czech Republic. I had a terrible time but Lisa loved it. It would have been more fun if it was just Lisa and I. I spent most of my time worried about the kids. Mostly Stevie. I could not get him to stick close to us which made my life hell. Anyway I have posted some pictures in the photo gallery under the category of Prague. Our digital camera is just about dead so a lot of pictures were lost. I ended up switching to my cell phone camera but I don't think that goes any higher than 3 megapixels. It took some decent photos though I guess. Since I was already playing with it, I also tried out it's camcorder function. You can find the two short tester movies I made in the downloads section of the members only links. I have authorized Lisa to let her pick out the next digital camera but I will be picking out the camcorder when we get one. I hope to switch to using more videos and uploading those to this site.
Hopefully Melinda will send us out her pictures so we can upload those to the site as well. She joined us on this trip.

Just some small updates this time. Lisa just bought me a cell phone for my birthday and I immediately downloaded the ring tone Adam Sandler used in Bedtime Stories. I think the ring tone is hilarious. Therefore, you can now find it in the members only downloads area. I also uploaded some funny avatars for people to use in their profile. For example you can see I'm using Mr. Bean. Don't forget to update your profiles so people will know more about you. That's the only place to edit your avatar. I'm hoping the forum will start to get used more often. Maybe when the kids start back up in school. Right now it seems that people just stop by for the pictures.

Alright ... As you can plainly see the new template is up. As I said before, I tried to follow the colors of the NYGiants and I think it came out well. I will likely change the header (picture on top of page) at a later date because I need to include Jackie's kitty cat logo. However, the look shouldn't change much from now on. I also just uploaded our pictures from Europa Park. So be sure to check them out. On that note, there are now two ways to look at the photo gallery. You still start off by clicking on the photo gallery link under the main menu. However, now a Gallery Directory Tree block will come up under the Member Links box. You can navigate to a photo category quicker by using the Gallery Directory Tree and when you choose your category, the thumbnails are loaded to fullscreen. Designing a New Layout

OK I've figured out that almost everthing on my To Do list is associated with the same limitations. Our current template was designed ok but it's got too many limitations right now for me to work with effectively. So the list is pretty much going away. I now have two things to work on; create us our own custom template (look) and create general website instructions. I really like the layout on www.giants.com. Naturally I will not let our site be as busy as that but I like their color scheme and general site layout. One minor difference will be a 3 column design as oppose to 2. This change will not effect any of the users. All your accounts and general site capabilities will not change. This will merely change the look of the site.

The website is going great now so it should be safe to tell your other family and friends to join up. I still have a few things to work on but it's very usable now. Recently I just added the capability for me to sign in as any user so I can assist people if needed. I have also setup a favorites icon (the cat's eyeball from the top left of the site) so re-create your favorite's/bookmark to get it (delete old favorite and make new one). Here's the new to do list:
